This is our life skills home based program. Like a new sprout that is developing off the main stem, this program was created to establish healthy living and life skills.
Programming focuses on learning, and further developing a variety of life skills such as cooking, budgeting, applying for a job, transportation, locating resources, banking, shopping, laundry, hygiene and appropriate social and community interactions.
All Youth are welcome.
This program takes place bi-weekly for a period of 12 weeks.
All participants take part in the Daniel’s Institute Life Skills Assessment. This tool provides objectives and goals to tailor the Sprouts programming to individual and group needs.

Programming will focus on life, social skills, counseling and communication following the child and youth counselors model of care. If you or your family are interested in this program please fill out an application form or contact the main office.
All internal members of The Sheltering Tree who are 10+ are able to take part in this program as it is included in the per diem services offered. All external applicants 10+ are welcome for the applicable fees associated with the program.
